If you live in Surry and want to increase the energy efficiency and sustainability of your home while lowering the cost of electric, gas and British Columbia hydro bills, our energy advisors at Energy Werx can help. We can find energy rebates you may not even be aware of, and ensure that you can benefit from them. Since 2017, The B.C. Government has provided rebate services through an incentive program for BC homeowners. If you make a clear effort to improve your home’s energy efficiency, you will qualify for these rebates. Even semi-detached, raw and mobile homeowners qualify. If you are unsure whether or not your home qualifies, it is our job to find out for you. Our energy auditors can also provide upgrades, ratings, findings and service to your home. 

Once you’ve hired us, we will send one of our skilled energy auditors to conduct a home energy evaluation and audit. The auditor will find which of the many energy audits you may qualify for, using Canada EnerGuide as a resource. Energy Werx also provides our customers with an efficiency advice guide, so you will have a better idea of how to stay energy efficient in the future. Some methods we use to find rebates include (but are not limited to): infrared cameras, checks for air leaks and blower door tests. Our auditors will also be available to answer any home evaluations questions after the initial assessments are complete. We will also provide a follow up energy evaluation test to ensure that our work was effective. 

All homes evaluated by Energy Werx receive a wide range of EnerGuide approved energy efficient resources and upgrades. Some of these upgrades include insulation upgrades, air sealing improvements, window, door and/or skylight replacements and furnace or boiler replacements, just to name a few.
