Energy Audits Burnaby

If you are a homeowner in Burnaby and want to reduce the stress of high electric, gas and British Columbia hydro bills while increasing your homes energy efficiency and sustainability at the same time, Energy Werx and our energy advisors can help. Without even knowing it, you may qualify for certain energy rebates. Our job is to find those rebates for you. The BC government started an initiative in 2017 that provides rebates for any BC homeowner (including semi-detached, raw or mobile homeowners) that demonstrates an effort to make their home more energy efficient. If you think your home might qualify for these rebates, we can help you find out. We can also provide you with upgrades, ratings, findings and service to your home. 

If you contact us, an energy auditor will conduct a home energy evaluation and audit. Our auditor will provide a thorough inspection of your home and determine which of the many audits you may qualify for, using the Canada EnerGuide as their source. After the inspection, we will also offer an energy advice guide, which will suggest projects to try after the efficiency energy audit is complete. Methods our auditors use to find rebates include (but are not limited to): infrared cameras, checks for air leaks and blower door tests. Our help doesn’t stop there, however. After the first assessments, we will remain available to you to answer any home evaluations questions you may have. Our auditor will also provide a follow up energy evaluations test.

Homes evaluated by Energy Werx will be given a wide variety of EnerGuide energy efficient resources and upgrades to choose from. Some of these upgrades include insulation upgrades, air sealing improvements, window, door and/or skylight replacements and furnace or boiler replacements, just to name a few. Our goal at Energy Werx is to help make British Columbia a more energy efficient and sustainable province.
